Villa Bella Vista is one hundred and five years old. In the past few years, the villa was completely renovated observing the New Art Movement that started in the beginning of the 20th century. The original fascade, the doors , the stairs, and the light fixtures are a perfect example of how a building looked a hundred years ago. The villa was formerly named "Vila Burja."
Tomaz and Maria Fischinger are the new owners of Villa Bella Vista. They are retired teachers. The Fischingers live in the Villa for about five to six months out of the year. They rent out rooms and apartments during the vacation season.

We found this wonderful apartment quite by chance while driving around the lake looking for a place to stay for a couple of nights---- extended to three nights as we thorughly liked this place.
We've been traveling around Croatia and Slovenia for three weeks mostly staying at the apartments and this is the best so far!
